This course focuses on hearing device fittings and the special considerations practitioners can utilize for optimal end-user success and satisfaction. This course will provide you with the knowledge to identify end user priorities and taking advantage of the full Widex product portfolio. By combining these end user preferences with the results of their hearing exam, you will have a better understanding of the end user needs and which hearing technology is ideal for them.

Learner Objectives: Participants completing this course will be able to:

1. Identify strategies and tools for assisting end users in understanding their hearing aid and accessory options.

2. Describe the effect different technology levels have on user preference and auditory fatigue.

3. List hearing aid technology by the various features and end user needs.

Presented by: Jodi Sasaki-Miraglia, AuD

 Jodi Sasaki-Miraglia, Au.D. has a B.A. in Audiology & SLP from the University of Northern Colorado and an Au.D. from Salus University. Jodi spent 18 years working for top global hearing device manufacturers as a Manager of Education & Training, Audiology support, Sales, and Practice Management. Her past positions include Clinical Audiologist at the Mayo Clinic-Scottsdale and private practice. Jodi was raised in Kona, loves SPAM, and lives in California with her family including her super dog Rex.
