Billing & Coding Confusion: The Top 10 Most Confusing Concepts Simplified
Audiology and hearing aid services billing and coding can be confusing. When was the last time you reviewed your billing and coding practices. Billing is so important to the overall health of the practice. This workshop highlights the top ten most common confusing billing concepts in audiology and hearing aid service billing and coding. Participants will learn about the code requirements and what drives who can bill for services. Understanding the billing and who can bill for the services will in turn maximize revenue and resources. This workshop will also cover the use of the AB modifier. In addition, we will review the appropriate use of Medicare’s Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) and waivers from a compliance standpoint.
